Solve SecureCRT Chinese garbled

Because of work and study, you need to use Securecurt to operate Linux (Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5) on Windows
7. A look at Chinese characters is garbled. Google. Basically, two aspects are considered to solve the problem:

1, first of all, Linux should support the Chinese character set: general UTF-8. In etc/sysconfig/i18n

Change LANG to a character set that supports UTF-8 such as: LANG=”zh_CN.UTF-8″ or LANG=”en_US.UTF-8″

2, of course, is to work under SecureCRT; under the menu are: Options -> Session Options -> Appearance -> Character Encoding: Select UTF-8

When I find it here, I found it. Chinese characters are still garbled: font selection supports Chinese fonts. Choose a good character set and you're done!

The default encoding for ssh in the Linux 2.6 kernel is UTF-8. So changing the Securecrt encoding to UTF-8 is ok.
