PCI ROOT HID fail=0x5 ACPI Linux error general solution

My two servers have the following error in dmesg, what is the reason?

os: rhel4.4 server model: hp dl380 g4, g5shpchp: acpi_shpchprm: \\ _ SB_.PCI0 evaluate _BBN fail = 0x5shpchp: acpi_shpchprm: get_device PCI ROOT HID fail = 0x5shpchp: acpi_shpchprm: \\ _ SB_.PCI0 evaluate _BBN fail = 0x5shpchp: acpi_shpchprm: get_device PCI ROOT HID fail = 0x5shpchp: acpi_shpchprm: \\ _ SB_.PCI0 evaluate _BBN fail = 0x5shpchp: acpi_shpchprm: get_device PCI ROOT HID fail = 0x5shpchp: acpi_shpchprm: \\ _ SB_.PCI0 evaluate _BBN fail = 0x5shpchp: acpi_shpchprm: get_device PCI ROOT HID fail = 0x5shpchp: acpi_shpchprm: \\ _ SB_.PCI0 evaluate _BBN fail = 0x5shpchp: acpi_shpchprm: get_device PCI ROOT HID fail = 0x5hw_random hardware driver 1.0.0 loadedshpchp: acpi_shpchprm: \\ _ SB_.PCI0 evaluate _BBN fail = 0x5shpchp: acpi_shpchprm: Get_device PCI ROOT HID fail=0x5shpchp: acpi_shpchprm:\\_SB_.PCI0 evaluate _BBN fail=0x5shpchp: acpi_shpchprm:get_device PCI ROOT HID fail=0x5

Workaround:

Add parameters to the boot option: Modify the /boot/grub/menu.lst file and add acpi=off noa at the end of the kernel kernel that is started. Pic or acpi=noapic or acpi=off

1) acpi=off disables some advanced power management functions and has no effect on the application. 2) noapic changes the interrupt mode and has no effect on the application. If your linux system NIC can't send and receive data, the disk array fiber card can't access the disk, the system starts to report ACPI and then stop the error, you can try the above method, there will be unexpected effect!
