Novice Academy: Ways to Add Linux to Windows Domain

Samba3.0 and above provides the net join command to join the WindowsPDC domain. Now use it to add Samba Server to WindowsPDC. For example, snoopy.echo is a WindowsPDC domain:

net rpc join -S snoopy.echo -U Administrator, then enter the domain administrator password, which is the password for the Administrator in windowsPDC.

The system will have a correct prompt to join, such as: joined ECHO domain.

After the configuration is complete, restart the Samba service.
