Red Hat Red Hat Linux 9 CD Boot Installation Process Diagram

One, preparation work

1, download Redhat9 installation CD (3 disks) or image file, download from Red Hat main station: http://www.redhat.com/
2, At least 2 partitions are reserved for the installation system in the hard disk. The partition used for the mount point is recommended to be 4G or more. The swap partition is not too large at around 250M. The file system format will be reformatted regardless of the file system format.
3, record the following device models in your computer: mouse, keyboard, graphics card, network card, display. And the IP address, subnet mask, default gateway, and DNS name server address used by the network settings.

Second, install Red Hat Red Hat Linux 9

will set the first boot disk drive, into the first installation CD and restart the computer, if your CD-ROM drive supported from the start, such as No accidents will appear as shown below:
