Linux solves file deletion but disk availability has not changed

  
        

Yesterday I received the zabbix alarm email, the usage rate of a server's /home directory reached over 90%. Checked it and found that MongoDB data files are placed in this directory, resulting in high disk usage. The MongoDB data is now no longer needed, so it deletes its data files directly and does nothing else. But today zabbix shows that /home usage rate reached 96%, went up and saw a strange phenomenon



Sure enough, I deleted the file before Information, the file handle has not been released. So, I restarted MongoDB and took a look:


The available space is back!
