How to mine the "potential" of the task manager

The task manager that comes with the system is one of the most commonly used functions, but do you know the functions of the task manager? How to make the most of its functions? The following system home Xiaobian will introduce you how to explore the task manager's "potential". Let the task manager eat "tonic" and do you think the task manager is too thin? Then please take out the TaskmgrPro plugin and add power to it! The plugin can add process batch control, service management, control startup items, view network connections, timed shutdown, and manage shared resources for the task manager. Here we mainly talk about the process batch operation, open the “process” panel in the task manager window, press Ctrl or Shift, select the target process in turn, you can select all of them, then click “end process&rdquo ; button, click the confirmation button in the pop-up dialog box to close all selected processes. In fact, in order to take advantage of the power of process batch operations, the process list function provided by TaskmgrPro is inseparable. For example, when malicious programs such as viruses and Trojans invade the system, they often start a variety of messy processes. Before we clean up, it is best to close all the unrelated processes to create a pure environment for killing soft. To do this, select the “Clean XP.xml” option in the “Current list” column to select all normal system processes (see Figure 1). Then click the arrow next to the “Batch Execute” button, click on the “Edit this process list” item in the pop-up menu, and tick the “Exclusion list” in the pop-up window (Figure 2), indicating that only Close processes outside this list. Then click on the above button menu “ batch execution & rdquo; & rarquo; & ldquo; batch end of the list of all processes & rdquo; items, you can close all processes outside the current list. This way all unrelated processes will be killed, leaving only legitimate system processes. This will save you a lot of money. System services, network connections, startup items, shared resources, etc. can be viewed or managed in the "Services", " TCP/IP”,"Startup”,"share settings" and other panels, limited by space I will not elaborate on them one by one. For the task manager to add "lock", sometimes, for security reasons, we do not want others to open the task manager of the machine at will, then the best way is to add a lock for it, the illegal user refused Outside the door. With the Password Door software, you can completely lock the task manager. Run the Password Door installer and enter the master password in the “Set Admin Password” window. When you start Password Door, you must enter the master password before you can enter its main interface. In the main window of the main window, the left side of the "Password Manager" panel lists all the software names installed on the machine, you can choose the program that needs to be locked. For the sake of simplicity, first open the Task Manager window, then select the sight icon at the bottom of the “Password Manager” panel and drag it to the Task Manager. The Password Door can capture the Task Manager window information. The “Standard” panel in the Encryption window (Figure 4) shows the name and path of the Task Manager program. In order to improve security, it is best to set the access password separately for the target program, and click the “Change” button in the “Password” column to set the required password. In this way, the task manager can only be started with this password in the future. In the “Advanced” column at the bottom of the “Advanced” panel (Figure 5), check the “Enable EXE identity” item to allow the Password Door to fully monitor the target program, even if it changes its name and path. Open the password protection of the Password Door. Check the “Always ask for password” item to indicate that the default password must be entered each time the target program is restarted. In the "Protection" column, you can select the type of protection, including allow, prohibit, password protection (default). Let the list of processes be completely "invisible" If you don't want others to know the process information of the machine running, the best solution is to block the list of processes, so that others can face the list of processes that are "missing". This requires PEExplorer's powerful resource modification tool. Click the “Open File” button in the PEExplorer main window toolbar to import the “taskmgr.exe” file. Click the “Resource View” button in the toolbar of PPExplorer, and select the “ Dialog""-“110” item on the left side of the "Resource Editor" window, select “process” panel form (Figure 6). Click the “Ctrl+Shift+E” button to select the “control[SysListView32]” item in the list on the left side of the "Dialog Mode" window, and cancel in the "Style” column in the right window" ;ws_visible” The red mark at the front of the selection box allows the list of processes to be completely “invisible” (see Figure 7). In the same way, select two “buton” items on the left side of the window to cancel the selection status of the item “ws_visible”. You can make the "Show all users' processes" box and the "End Process" button disappear. Then click the OK button and click the “Yes” button in the pop-up window to complete the modification. In the same way, select the “ Dialog""-“112” item on the left side of the <;Resource Editor" window, click the “Ctrl+Shift+E” key, and select the "Applications" window. Then, in the same way, you can hide the “Applications” list, “End Tasks” button, “Switch to” button, “New Tasks& button; When the modification is complete, click the Save button on the toolbar to get the modified “taskmgr.exe” file. In order to avoid the limitation of system file protection, you can execute the command “sfc /PURGECACHE” in “Start & rdquo;→“Run” to clear the contents of the cache folder. After that, the modified “taskmgr.exe” file will overwrite the original file under the folder “c:\\windows\\system32”, and Windows will pop up the file protection dialog box, and select the “Cancel” button. This way, when you reopen the Task Manager, you will appreciate the limited version of the Task Manager you have created.
