Great use of cameras Recording sound movies with VideoCap

Nowadays, many mobile phones, MP4s and other devices support video playback. Many friends like to put their own small movies on their mobile phones or MP4s. I believe many of them have video cameras. In addition to being able to conduct online video chats, they actually combine them. VideoCap is a small software that can shoot audio and video movies on your own, and then pass them on to mobile phones, MP4s and other devices to enjoy your personality.

Prerequisites

Due to the need to shoot audio video, in addition to a camera, you also need a microphone, install the camera driver, and then Insert the microphone into the “Mic” interface of the sound card, make sure that the sound card can be used normally, double-click the “Volume” speaker in the system tray, then select “Properties” under the “Options” drop-down menu, and click “Show the following volume control”. "Microphone" option (Figure 1), click the "OK" button, in the volume control panel, cancel the "Mute" option under "Microphone", and adjust the recording volume to the appropriate position.

Recording Settings

Run the VideoCap file, click the “Settings” button in the main interface, and then select your camera in “Video Device”. Select the video resolution in the video format. If you need to play the video file on MP4 or mobile phone, you need to choose the shooting resolution reasonably. Otherwise, the video will be distorted when playing in MP4 or mobile phone, such as 3.5 inch TFT display. The MP4 player has a resolution of 320×240 pixels, so choose “320×240:24 bits” here (as shown in Figure 2). Of course, if you are playing on a smartphone, you can choose a higher resolution. (eg 640 × 480).

Set "Audio Device" and "Audio Format", select "Microphone" in "Audio Input", and set the storage directory of the video movie.

In order to ensure that the film is better, you need to adjust the video effect. Click the “Video Properties” button and select “60Hz” in the “Type” drop-down menu under “Video Setting” to get Smoother video effects, then adjust the brightness, contrast, sharpness and other parameters in the Video Settings (Figure 3).

If you don't want to record, click the “End” button. After the recording is finished, you can enjoy the recorded sound movie.

It should be noted that the microphone volume should not be too large to prevent popping or noise, and the recorded video file is in ASF format. You can use other software. Convert to your favorite format (such as MTV, AMV, MPV, DMV or 3GP, MP4, RM/RMVB, etc.), then transfer it to your mobile phone or MP4 player, or you can engrave it as a video disc for later viewing.
