Classic article: Add any search engine to IE 7

  
                  In the upper right corner of Internet Explorer 7, a convenient search box is available, allowing you to enter keywords to instantly search for information on the web. The search engine defaults to Live Search, although other search engines can be specified from Microsoft's official website, but they are all in English.
1. Visit the search site you need to add, such as Baidu: www.google.cn.
2, in the Baidu search box, type TEST (note the capitalization), search.
3. Copy the URL of the search results page from the address bar, for example "http://www.google.cn/search?hl=en&q=TEST&meta=".
4. Open http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=50989 in Internet Explorer 7 and paste the copied URL into the first text box on the right yellow background.
5, in the fourth item Specify a name for the search provider Name: Enter the name of the search engine you want to take, such as "Google".
6, pay attention to this step: If your search provider doesn't install correctly, click here to select another character encoding.
Click the blue word "click here", select Chinese Simplified (GB2312), otherwise search for Chinese The engine will be garbled. (Tested, generally do not need this step.)
7, finally press "Install", the "Add Provider" dialog box will pop up, click "Add Provider" to add.
