What should I do if the Win10 system "sleep" option is missing?

Some Win10 users were surprised to find that the “Sleep” option in the pop-up menu was gone after clicking the “Power” button in the Start menu. Figure:

Then go to the "Settings - System - Power and Sleep" settings interface, found that the "sleep" settings are gone. As shown in the figure:

In this case, we can retrieve the disappeared <;sleep” option by modifying the group policy settings.
The method is as follows:
1, Win + R shortcut key to call out "Run" dialog box, enter "lded; gpedit.msc", OK.
2, open & ldquo; registry editor & rdquo;, in the list on the left, navigate to & ldquo; computer configuration & mdash; management template & mdash; system & mdash; power management & mdash; sleep settings & rdquo;, then in the right window Find “Allow standby (S1-S3) during sleep (“1-powered”) and “Allow standby (S1-S3) (use battery)” configuration items during sleep. As shown in the figure:

3, double-click these two items in turn, set to "ld" in the window that opens, "OK", OK, close the window.
4, then click on the "Power" button in the beginning, you will find that the "Sleep" option has returned. Figure:

5, then enter the "Settings - System - Power and Sleep" settings interface, you will find the "sleep" settings are back.
