How to reset the Win10 system local user password

Some users who use the Win10 system have the situation: the password of the local account is set, but the Microsoft account is used to log in to the system, and the password of the local account is forgotten for a long time. At this time, if you want to use a local account, you can only reset the local account password.

Operation steps

1. Press Win+R, in the running command, enter “lusrmgr.msc” and press Enter.

2, in the [Local User and Group (Local) User] interface, click to select the left panel "User", in the right panel, right click on your local account, right click, Select "Set Password" in the menu, a prompt interface will pop up, click "Continue".

3. In the “Set Password for XXX” interface that pops up, enter the new password twice and confirm that the local user and group interface will prompt “Password is set” and click OK!

Although this method can reset the password of the Win10 system local account, the premise is that you have a Microsoft account and log in to the Win10 system.
