How to modify the default naming method of Win10 new folder?

When creating a new folder or file under the Win10 system, always name it with "New" and the type of the file. In fact, this default naming rule can also be changed, we can use the registry to put a more flexible naming method for Win10, here are some specific methods.

steps:

First, open the Registry Editor, navigate to RenameNameTemplate

HKEY_CURRENT_USER \\ SOFTWARE \\ Microsoft \\ Windows \\ CurrentVersion \\ Explorer

2, then create a new NamingTemplates item under the Explorer item. Select the newly created NamingTemplates item and create a new string value called RenameNameTemplate in the right window.

3, RenameNameTemplate has not been assigned a value at this time, that is, a null value. At this point you will find an interesting phenomenon when you create a new project. All new projects have a suffix name and the name is empty.

4, in fact, the system default value data should be %s, if you set the value data to %s, you will find that the new project name is the system default.

5. If you set the value data of RenameNameTemplate to something else, for example, "System Home". Then, when you create a new project, the name of all new projects is “System Home + Suffix Name”.

The above is the step to modify the default naming scheme of Win10 new folder. You can use this method to change the words "New" in the default name to any text you can think of.
