How to restore Windows update in Win10 9901

After Win10 9901 leaked, everyone found that many of its applications were changed to Modern style, such as the sound control interface, and even the important Windows update function, transferred to the Modern style "Computer Settings" & ldquo; update and Restore & rdquo; function item (see the system home "How to open the Modern Sound Control Interface" in Win10). Some users don't like this, want to restore the Windows update function, how to operate?

Open the Registry Editor ( "How to open Win10 system registry"), navigate to ( "Win10 skills to quickly locate an item Registry Editor" in the left navigation branch list )

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Microsoft\\WindowsUpdate\\UX

Locate the IsConvergedUpdateStackEnabled value in the right window and double-click the value to open the edit window and change the value data to 0.

Close the Registry Editor and restart the Windows Explorer (see "Win10 Preview Desktop Icon and Taskbar Missing?" in the Win10 Preview. Then open the control panel and you will find that the traditional "Windows Update" is back.

If you want to restore the Modern style "Windows Update", just change the IsConvergedUpdateStackEnabled value in the registry to 1.

In Win10 9901, quite a lot of applications have started to be modernized. Everyone saw the determination of Microsoft to change the traditional interface. The Modern style must become the mainstream of Win10. Windows updates are transferred to the Modern style "Update and Restore" function items are the trend of the times, I hope everyone will work hard to adapt to the new interface.
