Win10 steps to open Aero effects

Aero effects is a very personal theme set in Win7 system. Although Win10 inherits some of the features of Win7, it does not incorporate this Aero effect. What if users want to open Aero effects under Win10 system?

Steps for Win10 to open Aero effects:

1. Download and install "Aero Glass for Win8.1" in the toolkit. Note: Keep the default installation location here; uncheck the "Install glass shiny atlas resource" option; at the same time, before clicking the last “Install” button, keep pressing “left Ctrl” Until the end of the installation.

2, open the "C: \\ AeroGlass" folder (assuming the C drive is the system disk), delete the "DWMGlass.dll" file, if you encounter the file is in use, can not be deleted . You can use the "File Shredding" function in the "Software File Master" in the soft media cube to forcefully delete the file. Then, place the two files in the “Win81_x64_alpha1_2.7z” file: DWMGlass.dll and glow.bmp into the "C:\\AeroGlass” folder.

3, download and install the Windows SDK for Windows 8.1 (this file is already provided in the toolkit, the name is "sdksetup.exe"), here is not to install all the SDK, we just choose one, and Go to the next step, and finally uncheck all the options you want to install, just keep “Debugging Tools for Windows” and “.NET Framework 4.5.1” The installation process needs to be kept online, and the downloaded file size is around 294MB. Please be patient and wait for it to complete.

4. Place “pnukeaero.exe” in the toolkit in "C:\\AeroGlass”.

5. Put “Symbols.exe” in the toolkit into "C:\\AeroGlass” and double-click to run the file. Here Symbol.exe file is actually a direct translation from the cmd file, use the tool for & ldquo; Bat_To_Exe_Converter_x64 & rdquo ;, compiled file here, 64-bit versions, the software specific configuration information is as follows:

6 Right click on the Start button and select “Command Prompt (Administrator)”, then enter the following command line and press Enter to run.

SCHTASKS /Create /SC ONLOGON /TN & ldquo; Symbols & rdquo; /TR & ldquo; C: \\ AeroGlass \\ Symbols.exe & rdquo; /RU BUILTIN \\ Administrators /RL HIGHEST

7, Log out of the current user and log back in. Now let's see if the Aero effect is already enabled.

Many users like the simple and fresh style of Aero effects. Even after upgrading Win10, I still want to experience this theme in Win10 system. No problem, just follow the above steps and you can easily experience it. But Xiaobian needs to remind the user that the above method is currently only used in the Win10 preview 64-bit system.
