Win10 new is missing, how to do Win10 can not create a new file solution

A friend installed the win10 system and found that there is no new item in the right-click menu, and the usual use of the new - folder item is very high. How can I restore a new item in the desktop right-click menu? Right click on the blank space on the desktop and find that there are no new items in the right-click menu, as shown in the figure.

The desktop right-click menu does not have a new item recovery method - modify the registry value

Registry path:

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\\Directory\\Background\\shellex\\ContextMenuHandlers\\New

Workaround Steps:

Step 1: Right click: Start - Run (enter regedit) - OK or Enter to open the Registry Editor;

Step 2: Then in the open Registry Editor window, we expand HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT as shown;

Step 3: Next we find in the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT expansion item: Directory, and then expand: Directory\\Background\\shellex\\ContextMenuHandlers, as shown in the figure;

Step 4: Find the ContextMenuHandlers expansion item: New, left click: New;

In the corresponding right window of New, we can see that the default numeric data is: {D969A300-E7DF-11d0-A93B-00A0C90F2719}, left-click double-click: default, in the pop-up edit string dialog box, put the value Change the data to: {D969A300-E7FF-11d0-A93B-00A0C90F2719}, click again: OK;

Step 6: Go back to the Win10 system desktop, right click on the blank space of the desktop, you can see the new - folder option, as shown.

In the Win10 right-click menu, it is rare to find the "New" menu option. If you encounter such a strange computer problem, you may wish to try the above method.
