Win10 Consumer Preview Upgrade Notes

As early as last year, Microsoft released the Win10 technology preview, and on Thursday, Microsoft officially released an updated version of the Win10 consumer preview, from the technical version to the consumer preview, although neither is the official version. However, as a follow-up update consumer preview, it also brings more new features, but the Win10 Consumer Preview upgrade notes the following issues.

Recently, Microsoft officially launched the latest Win10 Consumer Preview (Build 9926) to experience more new features than the previous technology preview, so it is worth upgrading. However, if you are already a Win10 Technology Preview (Bulid 9879) user, please note that you need to install the KB3025380 patch first, otherwise you will not be able to upgrade.

This news comes from Gabe Aul, head of the Microsoft Windows Insider beta program. He said that Build 9879 must have the KB3025380 patch installed to get the Build 9926 update. If you have ever opened an automatic update, this patch should already be installed because it was released last December. In addition, if you have used a leaked version, you can only reinstall it with the full version of the image released today.

The above is the Win10 consumer preview upgrade considerations, I hope to help everyone.
