Pre-installed Win7 easily add lock to partition

At present, the school has started school, and will soon be back to the school season and the 11th Golden Week. The major manufacturers' main products are Windows7 PC products in the fall, including a variety of student models, thin and stylish models and strong performance "Almighty King". The pre-installed Win7 computer will have more novel and unique features, and today we will take a look at the BitLocker encryption feature in Windows 7 Ultimate.
BitLocker Drive Encryption was originally a new data protection feature in Windows Vista. It is mainly used to prevent data theft or malicious leakage caused by physical loss of computer equipment. This function is more complete in Windows 7.
How to activate BitLocker Drive Encryption: You can click on the "BitLocker Drive Encryption" page in the Control Panel & System Security and Options tab. In this interface you can view the encryption of each drive and enable encryption for each drive.

1. Select the unlock method. When encrypting a certain partition, there are three unlocking methods: unlocking the password, unlocking the smart card, and automatically unlocking on this computer. Users can choose according to their needs.

2, choose the storage recovery key method. If the user forgets to unlock the password or loses the smart card, the user can access the partition by means of a recovery key. The user can choose to save the recovery key to a USB flash drive or file, or print the recovery key directly.

3. After completing the above two steps, you can start the encrypted drive.

When the drive encryption is completed, it will be displayed as encrypted. Of course, for the average user, password encryption is convenient and safe, especially when others need it. When you use your own computer, save your important or private content to an encrypted partition without worrying about the privacy of your content.
