Modify the registry to achieve Win7 system startup acceleration

There are a number of third-party optimization helper software that can help users start acceleration for Windows XP systems. Although there are currently software for optimizing the speed of Windows 7 systems, such software has always existed “over-optimized, resulting in the loss of some system functions”, which is considered by Windows Vista and Windwos 7 to be “not mature enough”. Auxiliary software.
In the case of third-party optimization software "not mature enough", some users turned to tap the potential of Windows 7 system, and by means of modifying the registry, the purpose of speeding up the system startup was achieved.
Run the Registry Editor, expand to the branch HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetControl Session ManagerMemory ManagementPrefetchParameters, then find and double-click "EnablePrefetcher" in the right window, in the pop-up dialog box, the default value of the system "ld"; 3 & rdquo; modify “ ; (as shown below), save the settings and exit.

The above method is relatively simple, compared to the "traditional", in the Windows XP system, by modifying the registry, you can also achieve the purpose of speeding up the system startup.
If you are using a Windows 7 system and the CPU is dual-core, then you can have a faster boot speed than other operating systems. ZOL users who recommend this method to the author believe that this is the only Windows 7 unique feature that allows XP users to envy.

In the Windows 7 system, click on the Start menu, type “msconfig” in “Search Programs and Files", and press Enter to open the <quo;System Configuration” dialog box, please click here. Switch to the "Boot" tab and click the "Advanced Options" button in the red circle in Figure 1.

In the upper right part of the pop-up "Boot Advanced Options" dialog box, the number of processors in Windows 7 system is 1 by default. If you are a dual-core user, please select “2” 2).

After the modification is completed, click the “OK” button to save the settings and exit.
Editor's Comments:
In the first method, speed up Windows XP and Windows system startup speed are achieved by modifying the registry. However, in the actual application process, such a method is only "the theoretical acceleration", and does not really achieve acceleration — — or, the effect of acceleration is very unclear. However, in the second method, since Windows 7 is specifically designed for the acceleration function that has been turned on by hardware devices, it is the first method that cannot be compared in practical applications.
