Win7 allows media to support more video formats

Win7 has been on the market since its launch, and the time is not too short, but the enthusiasm of Win7 has not been retired. It is still the product of people who are eager to buy. The reason for such popularity is nothing more than that: Genuine Win7 Bring convenience and protection to your computer, making your computer run faster, stronger, and safer.

When we enjoy various video files, I believe that people generally choose Storm video to play, and the main reason is that Storm Video supports most video formats. In fact, in Win 7, you can play various video files by using the media center that comes with it. Below, the author will tell you how to let the media center support more video formats.

First of all, download the Win7codecs (customized by the Internet), and then click the “Next” button to complete the installation of the decoding package. Once the installation is complete, you can use the Media Center to play common video files such as RM, RMVB, and AVI.

Right-click on a video file of a certain format (such as RM format) that already exists on the hard disk, and select "Properties" to open the "Properties" dialog box of the video file. "General" Tab, click the “Change” button in the tab, open the "Open with" dialog box and select the "Win Media Center" option (as shown); finally click the "OK" button , associate the RM file with the media center.

Similarly, according to the above method, we can also associate other frequently played video file formats (such as RMVB, AVI format) with Win 7 media center. In this way, when we double-click these types of video files, we can directly call the media center to play, and friends in need can try it, very convenient!
