Win 7 desktop wants to put the directory to D drive

How can I transfer the storage directory of the desktop file to the D drive?
The default desktop directory of the computer is on the C drive. How can I transfer the desktop directory to the D drive? It is best to transfer the Documents and Settings document to the D drive.
The things that do this on the system desktop are not lost.
In the normal mode, change the desktop to the d drive, as follows:
First create a folder on the d drive, then click Start --->Run ---> regedit, click HKEY_CURRENT_USER--> Software-->Microsoft-->Windows-->CurrentVersion-->Explorer-->user Shell Folders
Double-click the desktop on the right to pop up a dialog box, and write the data value you want to save to that folder. Path (that is, open the folder, the line in the address bar above), OK, close. The logout system is ok. Later, everything on the desktop is in the d drive.
Documentsand Settings This is not mobile. Many programs or software need to read and write this folder. User temporary files are also read and written in this folder.
