Manually repair Win7 ARP firewall driver under Win 7 (for 32/64 bit system)

  

The ARP firewall driver under Win 7 consists of two parts: xAntiARP and AntiARPNdisProt. If the prompt prompts 1/*** error at startup, it indicates that the xAntiARP driver installation failed. If the prompt prompts 2/*** error at startup, then The AntiARPNdisProt driver failed to install successfully. This article details how to manually install the ARP firewall driver.

Note: During the process of installing the driver, please close all software as much as possible, especially the security software, to avoid their error interception and cause the installation to fail.

When installing the driver, you need to uninstall the original driver, and then re-install it after confirming!

First, fix the installation of xAntiARP driver (to solve the problem of 1/*** error when starting up)
1. Open the network card property interface, click "Install",

2. Select "Service", then click "Add" (Note: You can't choose wrong here, otherwise the installation will fail)

3. Click "Install from Disk"

4. Click "Browse"

5. Go to the driver installation directory of the ARP firewall, select the "netsf.inf" file, and then click "Open". (Note: If the files are named netsf1.inf and netsf1_m.inf, please remove the file name. The number 1, renamed the file to netsf.inf and netsf_m.inf, otherwise the installation will fail)

The default directory for 32-bit systems is: "c:\\Program Files\\彩影软件\\ARP Firewall Stand-Alone \\"
The default directory for 64-bit systems is: "c:\\Program Files\\Coloring Software\\ARP Firewall Standalone\\Drivers\\"

6. Click "OK"

7. Click "OK"

8. Next, a window similar to the following will pop up several times. Please click "Continue Anyway". During this process, the network may be interrupted for a few seconds, then it will be Recovery,

9. Next, the network card interface properties should see "AntiARP Firewall Driver" words, should the installation has been completed successfully.

Second, repair the installation of AntiARPNdisProt driver (to solve the problem of startup time 2/*** error)
1. Open the network card property interface, click "Install"

2. Select " Protocol", then click "Add" (Note: You can't choose wrong here, otherwise the installation will fail)

3. Click "Install from Disk"

4. Click "Browse"

5. Enter the installation directory of the ARP firewall, generally in the "c:\\Program Files\\Coloring Software\\ARP Firewall Standalone\\" directory, select the "AntiArpNdisProt.inf" file, and then click "Open", < Br>

6. Click "OK"

7. Click "OK"

8. Next, you should see the words "AntiARP NDIS Protocol Drivrt" in the NIC property interface. It should have been successfully completed.

The most important thing is to follow the above instructions to install the following steps, then exit the software, open the command line window in administrator mode, execute the command: net start AntiARPNdisProt
