Lenovo: Windows 7 is more suitable for netbook systems than Linux

Lenovo's new technology director Howard Locker recently said that Windows 7 is more suitable for netbooks than Linux.

Locke said that Windows 7 is an excellent operating system, and many of its improvements will make it difficult for notebook vendors to choose a Linux system. Locke said: "Our S9 and S10 are based on Linux, but have been discontinued due to poor performance."

Rock also said that users did not realize the problems when they purchased the Linux netbook, but they found it difficult to adapt during use.

Rock also enumerates several advantages of Windows 7, such as 10 seconds to start, 1 second to restart, and so on.

Despite this, Locke said that Lenovo will consider other new systems including Google Chrome OS in the future.
