Open the green channel

for Windows 7 system specific users

Users who are familiar with Windows XP must remember one of its functions, set a "password free" mode for a specific account to log in. Specifically, you can set a green channel for a specific account ID, and you do not need to enter a login password when logging into the system (usually, such users are not users with administrator privileges). Under Windows 7, users can still specify a green channel for specific users.

Click the Windows7 Start menu, type "controluserpasswords2" in "Search Programs and Files" and press Enter. Then in the dialog box that opens, make sure that "To use this machine, the user must enter the username and Password", as shown in Figure 1:

After the modification is completed, save the settings to exit. After that, when you log in to the system again, Windows 7 will ask you to specify which user to open the "green channel", as shown in Figure 2:

In Figure 2, After setting the user and password, when someone else uses the "vista" designation login, he does not need to enter the system password to log in to Windows 7.

Editor's Comments:

In addition to understanding a Windows 7 system command, everyone seems to have no more useful content. So, the author left a question, specifying a green channel for a particular account, and what are the benefits of creating a new account and allowing it to automatically log in?
