Disable/Enable Taskbar Window Preview in Windows 7

  

Windows 7, brings a host of new features through the new Super Taskbar, such as Jumplists, pinned to the taskbar and taskbar window preview, and more.

Compared with Vista, the window preview in Windows 7 is actually an improved version, but if someone doesn't like this feature, it can be disabled.

Group Policy:

1. WIN+R runs GPedit.msc

2. Browse to: User Configuration -> Administrative Templates )-> Start Menu and Taskbar

3. Find Turn off taskbar thumbnails in the right panel and double-click

4. Select Enable

5. Restart

To re-enable the taskbar window preview, reverse the operation.
