Microsoft cites the following examples to show how to use these features:

For example, in Homegroup, Bob wants to share some documents with his wife, but not for the children to see, just specify his wife's With the Windows Live ID username, Bob can grant his wife access to advanced permissions on documents on his computer.

This seems to be very useful, and the file sharing is made easier with the Homegroup feature. Let's experience some of these features:

Link your Windows user account and Live ID

Download and install Windows Live ID Sign-in Assistant 6.5 (Beta) in Windows 7 ( Click here to download), open the Control Panel and find User Accounts and Family Safety:


Click User Accounts:


Click Link online IDs in the left pane


Once Windows Live ID Sign-in Assistant 6.5 Beta is installed, you can choose to link your Live ID:
