Simple fix for Favorites under Windows7 can't expand fault

"Favorites" on the left side of Windows 7 Explorer provides the equivalent of "shortcuts". Today, my Windows 7 has encountered a minor problem. The Explorer's "Favorites" cannot be expanded, but both "Library" and "Computer" are fine. But click on "Favorites" to go to the "Favorites" folder, the shortcuts inside are not lost. I tried to right click on "Favorites" and selecting the "Restore Favorites" link has no effect. In other words, some reasons have caused the "Favorites" of Windows 7 Explorer to fail.

After searching for a long time, I didn't find the answer, so I used English as a keyword to search. After several links and jumped, I finally found the answer.

In the "vistax64" forum, some users posted a solution to the problem that the favorites under Vista were emptied and the "collection" of the resource manager could not be expanded. One of the methods for modifying the registry was tested. Valid, share as follows:

1, run regedit

2, expand to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\\lnkfile

3, add a string value: IsShortcut, do not need to fill in the string value, You can press

4. Re-login
