Microsoft questioned Windows 7 zero-day vulnerability causing crashes

  
According to US CNET Technology Report, there is news that Microsoft said on Friday that it will release a patch for Windows 7 and Windows 2008 RC2 zero-day vulnerabilities, and said that the official believes that "a vulnerability exists in the server shared file. Can cause system crashes."

In this regard, Microsoft said, "Microsoft users know that detailed attack code will cause the system to stop functioning or become unreliable. If you use this 'denial of service' vulnerability, it will not allow an attacker. Control, or install a malware client's system, but may cause the affected system to stop responding."

Microsoft said in a statement, "Under Windows 7, the default firewall settings will help block The attacker used a 'denial of service' vulnerability."
