Windows 7 debuted for 3 days, making PC sales 40% more

On November 4th, just three days, it was enough to increase the computer sales of the week by 40%.

According to foreign media reports, in a report to customers on Monday afternoon, Morgan Stanley analyst Kathryn Huberty pointed out that NPD data shows that the week ending October 24 - only three days Sales of Windows 7 - PC sales increased by 40% compared to the same period last year.

This result is particularly encouraging, she wrote, because the sales earlier in the week may reflect the decline in sales before the launch of Windows 7 in the previous two weeks. On October 17th and October 10th, as consumers waited for Microsoft to launch a new operating system, personal computer buying gas fell by 29% and 2% respectively.

For the fear that before the launch of Windows 7, there were too many computers prepared by various merchants. Huberty was deeply dissatisfied because the data showed that the current inventory of personal computers is still below average.

So which computer manufacturer might be the most profitable? In another report that was offered to customers on Tuesday, Huberty named HP, and she said HP's potential growth rate was undervalued by investors.
