6GB of memory under win7 Only shows the solution of 3.25GB

  

The computer used by the author is Windows7 operating system, the actual physical memory has 6GB capacity, and the BIOS correctly displays 6GB of memory. However, the available memory under Windows 7 is only 3.25GB. This may be caused by the Windows 7 system boot process limiting the memory capacity. We can retrieve the full physical memory by the following method. 1. Click the “Start” menu, enter the “Msconfig” command in the search box, open the “System Configuration” window and switch to the “Boot” tab. Click on the “Advanced Options” button in the window that appears. . 2, in the pop-up "Boot advanced options" window found "maximum memory" is set to 0, it should be this problem. 3. Directly cancel the check box of “Maximum Memory” and confirm the exit and restart the system. After rebooting, you will find that the Windows 7 system has finally recognized the full 6GB of physical memory. Through the above method, 6GB of physical memory under Windows7 can only be solved by showing 3.25GB available.
