How to use Win7 system to build a hidden virtual wireless network card

  
 

The wireless network shared by this method does not allow devices such as iPad to connect smoothly. If the security type in this method is changed to WEP, the iPad can connect to the shared wireless network smoothly, but the security of the shared network will be reduced. The following describes a method for enabling a device such as an iPad to successfully connect to a wireless shared network of security type WPA2. Of course, this requires your wireless network card support.

Operation Steps

1 First, right-click the command prompt as the administrator (Start Menu → All Programs & Rarr; Attachments).


2, type the following command "netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow ssid=Simnovo key=SimnovoWifi”.


This command contains three parameters, of which mode: whether to enable Windows
7 virtual WiFi network card, allow means enable, disallow means disable, ssid: shared wireless network Name, preferably in English (Simnovo), key: shared wireless network password, more than eight characters (SimnovoWifi).

3. After successful startup, you can see the hidden wireless network card in the change adapter settings. If you don't see the device named "Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adapter", please make sure that the wireless card provided by the notebook supports this function or update the wireless network card driver. Then, the network sharing is enabled for the wireless network card, and the right-click property is on the connected network device, and the shared network page is the wireless network card sharing network that is just opened,


4, enabling sharing After that, you can see that the networked device displays "Shared",


5, make sure the wireless network card function that comes with the notebook is enabled, and then enter it at the command prompt. “netsh wlan start hostednetwork”.


6, you can see that the virtual wireless network card has been connected before.


7. Click on the network icon in the task bar in the lower right corner to see the currently connected network.


8. If you want to query shared wireless network information, you can enter the following command to query "netsh wlan show hostednetwork”.
