Files not completely deleted in Win7 system and files not found in Recycle Bin

Procedure

Right-click the trash can icon and click Properties.

After opening the Recycle Bin Properties dialog, you will find that in the Settings section of the selected location, the file is not moved to the Recycle Bin because it was selected. Remove the file as soon as it is removed, and the file will be deleted directly.

In the Settings section of the selected location, click Customize Size and set the maximum size of the file or folder to be deleted in the Recycle Bin. It is recommended that the capacity be set too small, then click OK.

Tips

When the maximum value is set to 100MB, deleting files larger than 100MB will prompt you to delete them permanently. (In the Recycle Bin Location section, the system selects the local disk C: by default. This means that the files and folders of the local disk C: are now set. To set the local disk D:, please select first, if you have more Disk partitioning, and so on.
