The file preview feature on the Windows 7 Super Taskbar is relative to the Windows XP taskbar. Progress is not just a little bit. But such advances require hardware configuration to support, because file previews, especially for previewing video files, will consume more system resources. (Because the video file can be played during the preview process. In addition, the consumption of system resources depends on the number of open video files.)

Good features, but need high hardware Configuration support, which makes it difficult for many users to choose. In fact, we can take a compromise approach, selectively closing certain types of file previews, leaving only the common file format preview feature. For example, since the preview of a video file relative to a preview of a file or the like takes up more resources, we can consider canceling the preview of the video file and retaining a preview of other file formats such as images.

The first step:

Create a notepad, and then enter the following:

Windows Registry Edit Version 5.00

[-HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT.aviShellEx]

[-HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT.asfShellEx]

[-HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT.wmvShellEx]

[-HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT.rmShellEx]
< Br>

[-HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT.rmvbShellEx]

Finally, save the file in .reg format (registry file) and double-click it to import it into the registry.

Tips:

Similarly, if you want to cancel the preview function of a file format, add the suffix of the corresponding format of each file.

Step 2:

Go to any folder and click “Tools”→“Folder Options", in the dialog that opens, switch to “ Look at the ” tab, then pull the slider on the right in the “Advanced Settings” area to find “Always show icons, never show thumbnails”.

find & ldquo; always show icons, never thumbnails & rdquo; after

set up, click & ldquo; OK & rdquo; button to exit the dialog box.

If you want to cancel limit the preview of the video file, go to the Registry Editor, locate the & ldquo; Step & rdquo; the corresponding entry operation, then each corresponding keys can be deleted.
