Win7 wireless router bridging method

I believe everyone is very familiar with wireless routers, and now many people are using it. The wireless router is convenient to place, has strong mobility, and is highly applicable, bringing convenience to people. There are still many users of Win7 system, but I don't know how to bridge the wireless router. What is the method of bridging the wireless router? Here is a small series and everyone talk about the Win7 wireless router bridging method.

The specific steps are as follows:

Step 1: Configure the PC environment

1. To ensure the correctness and integrity of the subsequent wireless bridge configuration, it is recommended to connect the router with a network cable. The IP (IPv4) of this machine is set to be fixed, and it is ensured that the fixed IP is in the same network segment as the IP of the primary router.

2. Click the "Start” button, type “cmd”, press Enter, and then enter the command “ipconfig/all” to query the detailed configuration information of this machine:

Record the IP, subnet mask, default gateway, especially the latter DNS, which will be used later.

3. Right click on the “Network” icon in the lower right corner of the taskbar and select “Open Network and Sharing Center”:

4. Click on ““ in the pop-up window” Local connection ":

5. Click the "Properties" button in the "Local Connection Status" dialog box that opens:

6. Click the Local Area Connection Properties dialog box. In the Internet version 4 (TCP/IPv4), click the "Properties" button:

7. In the dialog box that opens, use the dynamic IP information obtained above to configure the fixed information. :

Note: The default gateway is the primary router IP;

8. After the configuration is complete, it is best to restart the computer, and then open the external network to verify whether it can be connected to the external network. This will reduce the scope of troubleshooting when problems occur later.

9. Or check if the connection between the router and the external network is normal by clicking in the Network and Sharing Center:

Step 2: Main Router Configuration

1 Assuming that the router used to connect to the external network is treated as the first wireless router, we use this router as the primary router. Its wireless name (ie SSID) is defined as TP-A with an IP of 192.168.0.2.

2, the main router TP-A needs to enable the DHCP service, no need to enable WDS.

3, open the browser, enter the management IP of the main router & ldquo; 192.168.0.2 & rdquo;, then click & ldquo; OK & rdquo; enter the background management interface:

4, after login, select on the left “DHCP server”, then select “DHCP service”:
