How to delete Windows7 system. OLD dynamic file

  


Found a space on the C drive installed a Windows7 and has actually occupied dozens of G, what is going on? Look carefully, found in the C drive There is a WINDOWS.OLD folder, huge! What is this stuff? Look at the stuff inside, I found that it was the backup directory of the previous operating system when installing windows7!

Some special, you can not directly delete the WINDOWS.OLD folder, otherwise it will cause Explorer to crash. So how do you easily delete the WINDOWS.OLD folder?

1. Locate the cmd.exe file (in the “start –>program–>attachment”), right click “Run as administrator"

2. Run the command

rd/S/Qc:WINDOWS.OLD

or

rd/S /Q$WINDOWS.OLD

3. When prompted to confirm the deleted WINDOWS.OLD folder, confirm the input y and press Enter.
