Windows Vista automatic restart problem solving method

  
        

A lot of netizens recently said that after installing Windows Vista, they sometimes restart automatically after an error occurs. There are still some programs that have compatibility issues with Windows Vista. In fact, Vista can be set to not restart automatically after an error. The Vista Zone today offers two ways to easily solve the Vista auto-restart problem.

Method 1. We enter systempropertIEsAdvanced in the Vista start menu and press Enter to open the WinDos Vista system advanced properties dialog box, as shown in Figure 1:

In the "Advanced" tab of the System Properties dialog box, click the "Settings" button in the "Startup and Recovery" area, as shown in Figure 2:

Next Uncheck "Automatically restart" in the "Startup and Recovery" dialog box that opens, as shown in Figure 3:

Method 2, Register with Windows Vista Locate the HKEY_LOCAL_MacHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetControlCrashControl branch in the table editor and set the AutoReboot key to 0, as shown in Figure 4:
