Tip: When booting into the DOS system with the boot disk, booting with the driver driver mode, the drive letter of the CD-ROM drive is delayed by one drive letter than the actual drive letter. If your CD-ROM drive is an F drive in Windows system, That is, it becomes G disk here; if your CD-ROM drive is G disk in Windows system, it becomes H disk here; and so on. If you choose to load the CD-ROM driver when you start DOS, you can display the drive letter used by the CD-ROM drive in the third-to-last line of the picture shown in Figure 9. If you boot into the DOS system with the boot disk, do not load the CD-ROM driver mode to start, that is, you can not read the contents of the CD-ROM drive after entering DOS.
Part 2: Use 98 or Me installation CD to boot into DOS
First, set the CD-ROM as the first boot disk. (Refer to the first part: setting the floppy drive as the first boot disk) Not much to say here.
Second, use the Windows 98 installation CD to boot into the DOS system
After the CD-ROM drive is the first boot disk, put the Windows 98 installation CD into the CD-ROM drive, restart the computer to appear as shown below Figure 10
