How to install Win7 system

To say that a few years ago, installing Windows 7 under UEFI BIOS is not difficult, just turn off the secure boot, use Legacy mode, select the disk mode. But now manufacturers have found that UEFI can be personalized too much, start a variety of toss, like the domestic mobile phone ROM, the personality is strong but can be modified for everyone less and less, unless the manufacturer can provide full-featured BIOS, otherwise Windows 7 is basically no play.

The method provided by Xiaobian is only for the UEFI BIOS product (main board or notebook) with full function. Please check it in the best advanced BIOS before installation. If the optional items are limited, Don't bother with Windows 8/10 (especially the BIOS of a branded laptop).

For the past 5 years, the motherboard or laptop with UEFI BIOS can be modified by installing Windows 7:

First, prepare the 64-bit Win7 ISO image file (32-bit) EFI is not supported at all, and Win7 ISO is written to the USB flash drive using software such as UltraISO (after selecting ISO, select “Start-Write Hard Disk Image” at the top of the interface).

It should be noted that the U disk must be formatted into FAT 32 format when making the boot disk.

Then under the normal Windows 8/8.1 or Windows 10 operating system, find the bootmgfw.efi file, which usually exists in the C:WindowsBootEFI folder.

Rename it to bootx64.efi, copy it to the created Win7 installation disk X:efiboot folder (X stands for U disk drive letter, if there is no such folder in U disk, press This name is a new folder).

Then insert a USB flash drive on the computer that needs to install Windows 7, press the various shortcut keys (according to the motherboard or brand settings, F2, F10, DEL, etc., usually will be displayed at the bottom of the screen when booting), Enter the motherboard BIOS, unlock Security Boot, and select the UEFI mode U disk boot to start installing Windows 7.

Each motherboard or brand notebook Bios has different names for the options. You must be patient and look at the instructions on the right.

If you are using an EFI motherboard or a UEFI laptop, compare it. OLD, you need more preparation.

Copy the bootmgfw.efi mentioned above and the shell.efi file that you need to extract from the Windows 8/10 installation disk (or search and download it online) directly to the root directory of the U disk you just created. Next,

Then in the BIOS that needs to install Windows 7 computer, find the EFI Shell or similar option to load from the file,

When the computer displays the EFI Shell startup interface, use fs0:, fs1:, Fs2: Wait for the drive letter to find the USB flash drive.

After entering the USB flash drive, enter the LS command to view the contents. When you see the file with “bootmgfw.efi”, you can enter the Windows 7 installation program.

This method is relatively troublesome, everyone must have patience~

Right, use UEFI to install Windows 7 must use GPT partition, before the small series for everyone to push. Don't bother to search directly for this passage!
