What if the Win7 disc does not play automatically?

Although there are a lot of video resources on the Internet, there are still many people using CDs, especially some teaching CDs. When a friend puts the CD into the CD-ROM drive, it is found that the CD cannot be played automatically, but it can be played manually, which is very inconvenient to use. So how can I solve the problem that Win7 CD can't be played automatically?

There are many reasons why the CD-ROM can't play the CD, but it's nothing more than the following:

1. Anti-virus Blocking software and computer security software. Since many CD viruses and U disk viruses are now transmitted through automatic playback, some anti-virus software and computer security software have prevented the CD from playing automatically because of the need for computer security protection.

2. The operating system itself limits. In particular, the operating system of win7 and later is also a computer security consideration and the automatic playback function of the computer optical drive or USB flash drive is disabled by default.

3, the computer user's security configuration of the operating system (such as prohibiting the automatic playback of the CD through group policy, prohibiting the automatic playback of the CD through the registry, etc.), can also prevent the automatic operation of the CD or U disk; >

4, optical drive or U disk itself, such as optical drive failure and other reasons;

Therefore, to solve the problem that the CD can not automatically play should start from the above aspects, in the possibility of eliminating the device itself failure After that, the problem that the disc cannot be automatically played can be solved from the following aspects. Of course, it is forbidden to perform the reverse operation only if the disc is not automatically played and the autoplay disc is not set.

Method 1. Change the settings of anti-virus software and computer security software.

This different anti-virus software has different settings, and usually anti-virus software or security software will prompt you to prevent the disc from running automatically, generally according to the prompts to make relevant settings;

Method 2, change the default settings of the operating system, set the disc auto play function.

1, WinXP operating system does not need special settings, generally can be; for Win7 system, you need to open the "control panel", and then select "hardware and sound", as shown below: Br>

However, after some users set this up, they still can't or only pop up a dialog box for the user to manually select and run, and there is no actual playback. In this case, you may need to set the registry accordingly, as follows:

Start, run, type regedit, press Enter, and then expand the following options in the registry:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESystemCurrentControlSetServicesCDRom , then double-click to open the "AutoRun" on the right side, change the key value to 1 (the default is 0), and then click “ OK & rdquo;, as shown below:

Then, we also need to modify the registration Another key of the table, expand:

HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionPoliciesExplorer, then click on the right side of "NoDriveTypeAutoRun", then modify its key value to "91" (default is b5), and then click OK. As shown below:
