How to delete desktop IE icon in Win7 system

  

1. First click on “Start” in the lower left corner of the computer, then select “Run” in the open menu. “Run” >;

2. After clicking Run, open the Run dialog box in the input box. Enter gpedit.msc, and then click the "OK" button to execute the gpedit.msc command;

3. After executing the gpedit.msc command, open the "Local Group Policy Editor".

4, in the "local group policy editor" left menu list in turn, "user configuration", "-----" management template & rdquo;-----“ desktop ”, then in the function list on the right, select “Hide the Internet Explorer icon on the desktop>;

5. Double-click “Hide the Internet Explorer icon on the desktop”Open the Internet Explorer on the hidden desktop Icon function setting dialog box, the current status is not configured;

6. Change the current status to “ldquo; enabled”, then log out or restart the system, so we can't see the IE icon on the desktop. .
