Win7 Tip: Lock "Switch between windows" to the taskbar

Windows Switcher (switching between windows) provides a quick and beautiful preview switching method for users who open multiple documents at the same time. This function first appeared in Vista, but it is not the default for Windows 7 with the quick launch bar. Display, this function also disappears completely in the taskbar. To achieve it, it can only be operated by keyboard combination. Is there any way to retrieve this function and return it to the taskbar?

Implementation method steps:

1. Create a shortcut, right click on the desktop, select New — Shortcut.

2. In the "Please type the location of the object", type C:\\Windows\\system32\ undll32.exe DwmApi #105 in the text box and click Next.

3. Type a name for the shortcut in the Name text box for the shortcut, for example, “Switch between windows", click Finish.

The shortcut icon is a white blank document, bare, not good-looking, what should I do? Then look.

4. Right-click on the newly created shortcut and click on “Properties”.

5. In the Shortcuts tab, click “change icon”.

6. Enter %SystemRoot%\\System32\\imageres.dll in the "Find the icon in this file" box and press Enter to confirm.

7. Select the Flip-3D icon (it looks like the first one is oh~) and click OK.

8. Now try double-clicking on the shortcut to see if it works.

If you can, drag the shortcut to the taskbar or the Quick Launch bar to lock it.

If your system has not been modified, you can also find the shortcut in the following location, and then drag it directly into the Windows 7 taskbar.

%AppData%\\Microsoft\\Internet Explorer\\Quick Launch

In addition, you can use the keyboard combination to switch between different windows:

Alt+Tab — Switch between open projects

Ctrl+Alt+Tab — Use the arrow keys to switch between open projects

Win +Tab — Under the Aero Flip 3-D effect, browse the program in the taskbar

Ctrl+Win+Tab — use the arrow keys to navigate the program in the task bar under the Aero Flip 3-D effect
