At the same time, Windows 7 SP1 is still in the development test phase, there may be some problems in the service pack, and the RTM version can solve the problems in the test phase. Therefore, customers may need to uninstall the beta version of Windows 7 SP1.

First, customers can use the Windows 7 Control Panel to enter the program — uninstall the program window, select Browse for the current installer on the left, select Service Pack for Microsoft Windows (KB 976932), and click the Uninstall option.

Second, customers can uninstall Windows 7 SP1 Beta from a command prompt. Early testers can enter “command prompt” or “cmd” in the start menu search box, click to run as administrator, then execute: wusa.exe /uninstall /kb:976932.

Finally, customers can also use the Win7 system to restore features. Microsoft said that the system restore function can remove any program and restore the original system settings. System Restore does not affect any personal settings:

1. Click the Start button and type "System Restore" in the search box to select System Restore;

2. Click Next ;

3. Select the system restore point when the service pack is installed. The system restore point may be made up of two tags ——install: Windows Update or Install: Windows 7 Service Pack 1;

4. Select the restore point and click Finish.
