From the "Windows Easy Transfer" panel, you can see that Win7 delivers a lot of content, including account information, mail settings, contacts, Microsoft Office software and other programs; user accounts and settings , theme settings (including desktop background, color, sound, etc.), network connections, screen savers, fonts, "start" menu options, taskbar options and network printers, Internet settings, etc., including "Personal Folders" All files, such as "My Documents", "My Pictures", "My Music", "My Videos", "Favorites", etc.

Click "Next" and we can see the selection of the transfer item. Three options, if the two computers are connected by a network cable, you can choose "Easy Transfer Cable", if you are transmitting via LAN, select "Network", if there is only one computer, select "External Hard Disk or USB Flash Drive".

After selecting the transfer project, proceed to the next step. note! This is the key. Be sure to know the direction of the transfer. If you need to do a backup operation, be sure to select "This is my old computer". If you are ready to transfer the backup settings to a new computer, select "This is my new computer".

After the system is calculated, we set the need to transfer to the content and click "Next". "Windows Easy Transfer" will require a password. In order to protect personal files and privacy, Win7 is considered very thoughtful.

After setting the password and clicking "Save", you need to select the file path to save the transfer data. "Windows Easy Transfer" will save the selected content to a file with the suffix "MIG". It is recommended. MIG files exist on the U disk or hard disk partition. Be careful not to select the system partition to avoid loss due to reinstalling the system.

When using the "Windows Easy Transfer" feature, the corresponding icon will appear on the Win7 desktop toolbar.

After saving the transfer settings file, log in to the system as an administrator user on a new computer or a new Win7 system. First install the commonly used software such as Office, and then double-click the generated one. The MIG file can launch the "Windows Easy Transfer" program, select "" to enter the correct password, and "Windows Easy Transfer" will start transferring system files and settings for you.

Note: It is best not to perform other operations during the transmission process to avoid transmission errors.

If the transferred content contains multiple account information, before clicking "Transfer", it is best to click "Advanced Options", set the transfer relationship between accounts, and finally "transfer".

"Windows Easy Transfer" transfers the backed up content to the new Win7 system.
