Set up sharing

1. Enable guest account

Start-Control Panel--Administrative Tools--Computer Management-Expand System Tools--Local Users and Groups--Users, in On the right, you will see a GUEST user. Double-click it to cancel the checkbox in the account that has been disabled. If you want to improve the speed of accessing other people's machines, you can also do some related operations: control panel - management tools - services - Task Scheduler - properties - start mode is changed to manual, so that is fine.

2, User Rights Assignment

"Control Panel - Administrative Tools - Local Security Policy", in the "Local Security Policy" dialog box, select "Local Policy - User Rights Assignment" In the options on the right, set the options "Access this computer from the network" and "Deny access to this computer from the network".

The "Access this computer from the network" option needs to add the guest user and everyone to it; "Reject access to this computer from the network" needs to delete all users who are rejected. By default, the guest is Denied access.

3. Set up a shared folder.

(1) My Computer → Tools → Folder Options → View → Remove the checkmark before “Use Simple File Sharing (Recommended)”.

(2) Put all the files you want to share in a folder, right click on the folder - share and security, select "Share this folder on the network" in the "Share" tab. "Check box, then the "Share Name" text box and the "Allow other users to change my files" checkbox become available. The user can change the name of the shared folder in the "Share Name" text box; if the "Allow other users to change my file" check box is cleared, other users can only view the contents of the shared folder, but not It is modified. Once set up, click the "Apply" button and the "OK" button.
