        Today, my friend said that his Windows 7 system theme interface has become the "Windows Classic" theme. Clicking to switch to other themes prompts "Cannot apply visual style" error. The following icech introduces two solutions:

1. Rename the name "Cannot apply visual style"

Enter the folder C:\\Windows\\Resources\\Themes\\Aero\\zh-CN, Rename the file aero.msstyles.mui to the file name corresponding to the visual style. In the case of Aero Clear, rename aero.msstyles.mui to Aero Clear.msstyles.mui, then re-open "Personalization" and select the theme that needs to be replaced.

2, replace the law to solve "can not be applied visual style"

general cause "visual style can not be applied" for the wrong reasons are aero.msstyles.mui file is damaged, so just find a Replace this with an undamaged file.



After downloading, unzip and replace the aero.msstyles.mui file in the C:\\Windows\\Resources\\Themes\\Aero\\zh-CN folder.
