Solutions

Resolving browser crashes

Browser crashes are more common in the Apple EBS 11i version of the Applet interface. After 12i, this problem seems to have been solved (seemingly)? For the 11i version, please follow the steps below to resolve the crash according to your actual situation.

For IE, select Tools->Internet Options->Security->Custom Level, "Disable" XSS Filter in Custom Level Window

Product Version For 6.0.130.3, jvm.dll with file version 11.3.0.2 is overwritten to X:\\Oracle\\JInitiator 1.3.1.21\\bin\\hotspot\\ (X refers to the disk drive where JInitiator is installed), remember, before overwriting The original jvm.dll backup

After completing the above two parts, restart the browser and re-request to run the EBS Applet interface, the browser no longer crashes.

Resolve the display of garbled problems

The garbled code depends on the actual situation. If the Chinese characters are garbled after opening the Chinese interface of EBS Applet under Windows 7, please follow the steps below as needed. Modify

Open the X:\\Oracle\\JInitiator 1.3.1.21\\lib\\font.propertIEs file and look for SIMSUN.TTC. If you find it, replace it with SIMSUN.TTF and save it

Back up the font.properties.zh.5.0 file located in the path X:\\Oracle\\JInitiator 1.3.1.21\\lib\\, and change the file name of the file to font.propertIEs.zh.6.1

After the two parts, restart the browser and re-request to run the EBS Applet interface, Chinese is no longer garbled.
