        In Windows 7 and Vista, when you download the updater, but it hasn't been installed yet, if you need to restart the machine for something more important at this time, the system always asks you if you want to install and update. If you choose to install, you may have to wait a long time for the system to restart, which delays the more important things.

In the face of this problem is actually very easy to solve, it is enough to shield this extra prompt of the Vista system. Run the Group Policy Editor, expand User Configuration→Management Module→Windows Update (Figure 1), and double-click “Do not install and update” in the ‘Close Windows’ dialog box in the right window.

Tip:

The system download update is stored in the system directory, will not be lost due to this setting, after the user enters the system next time , you can still choose to install the downloaded update program.

After setting, when the user encounters a similar situation again, it will not delay other more important things because of the need to install the update.
