Install Oracle 11g solution under Windows 7

I recently uninstalled my Windows Vista system and installed Windows7 Ultimate. I also encountered many problems during the installation process. Some problems were not encountered by myself, but I tried to solve it step by step. Try to work hard. My own unremitting efforts have also returned to the results. For example, when I installed SQL Server 2005 and Oracle 11g, I encountered a problem. When I installed SQL Server 2005, I could not attach the previously created database. Later I learned that under Windows 7, I need to run SQL Server 2005 as an administrator to attach and create. database. And when installing Oracle 11g, the system is not compatible, Oracle 11g system self-test, check out the system is not compatible, you can not download the database, after their own attempts and finds finally successfully installed Oracle 11g Enterprise Edition this afternoon . In fact, I feel that I have learned a lot more from mistakes than I usually learned. If I encounter mistakes, I can try to solve them myself. This is a kind of learning ability, which can prove a person's ability to learn and debug. Strong and weak, I also hope that in the future, I can think independently and solve problems on the road of learning. Let's share the problems and solutions we encountered in installing Oracle 11g.

First of all, in my own Windows 7 Ultimate, Oracle 11g prompts the following error when "product-specific predictive condition check":

In the first picture, we can see that Oracle did not pass the check when checking the operating system compatibility. At this time, when we click "Next" to install, it can not be installed, it will jump out of the second The error message in the picture, so Oracle can only be installed after the compatibility issue has been resolved. At this time, we must first find the Oracle installation file, the following describes the path of my installation file, first find the path:

" E:\\Oracle Enterprise_Standard Edition_11.1.0.7\\database\\stage\\ Prereq\\db\ efhost.XML".

After finding the "refhost.xml" file, if you don't have the XML software installed, open the file in Notepad. After opening it, we find the following node:

{
<!--Microsoft Windows Vista-->
<OperaTING_SYSTEM>
<VERSION VALUE="6.0"/>
}

Replace the above nodes with the following Node:

{
<!--Microsoft Windows 7-->
<OperaTING_SYSTEM>
<VERSION VALUE="6.1"/>
< /OperaTING_SYSTEM>
}

After the replacement is complete, click Save and exit. Next, you can click “setup.exe” to install. When you enter the installation interface of “Product-specific Predictive Condition Check”, there will still be the first picture installation screen above, and the system compatibility check is still not available. Pass, but we will continue to install regardless of clicking "Next". When clicking the "Next" button to install, the following error will pop up, as shown below:

At this time we click "Yes" is to continue the installation, then the installation program will enter the next installation program, the installation program interface is as follows:

We continue the Oracle installation program, click "Next "Continue, when we click on the "Next" button, we will come to the Oracle installation interface, as shown below:

The entire Oracle installer can be installed here. Success is only a matter of time. We continue to click the "Install" button for Oracle installation. At this time, the Oracle installer will configure and start the previously selected components, as shown below:

Waiting for Configuration Assistant to be configured After that, it was officially installed on our computer hard disk. At this time, we entered the startup and creation interface of the Oracle database, as shown below:

Awaiting the creation of the Oracle database After that, the installation of the Oracle database was completed, and finally the installation interface of Oracle:

The process of installing Oracle 11g has been completely completed, and we found that There is a "Password Management" button. In Oracle 11g, the "scott" account is locked by default. If you want to use the "scott" account to log in as before, click the "Password Management" button to unlock the "scott" account. . The unlocking process is as shown below:

Remove the "Do you want to lock the account?" checkbox, enter your password in the password setting, and you still prefer to set it as the previous version. "Tiger" as a password, after all, came with Oracle's products. In the end, we can click on the "OK" button to complete the installation of Oracle.

After the installation process is completed, you can open Oracle 11g. At the beginning of the installation, you must pass the java run file "Java.exe", as shown below:

This is described by the path of the file installed by my jdk: D:\\Program Files\\Java\\jdk1.6.0_17\\jre\\bin\\Java.exe, you must also go here Sun company's official website to download JDK, here is not described, if you do not know how to install JDK please leave a message in my blog,

after passing the "Java.exe" run file, jump to the login page, we After logging in as the system administrator account, you will enter the Oracle 11g interface, as shown below:

At this point, the entire Oracle 11g installation is complete, you see the login After the successful installation interface, it is also very happy. Through my own step-by-step attempt, I finally completed the installation of Oracle on my laptop. After the exchange of my own attempts, the results are very impressive. I am grateful and hope to help people who have encountered the same problem!
