Open Windows SharePoint Library with Windows Explorer Slow Solution

  

SharePoint 2007 provides a very useful feature, which is to open the document library directly using Windows Explorer, which greatly facilitates the management of the document library. It uses WebDAV to connect, which can be used in previous versions, but it is not so convenient to use.

This feature was used very well on Windows XP clients, but it was found to be very slow when used in Windows 7 browsers, not only slow to open, but also very slow to upload and download files. In the internal network, the speed is only a few tens of KB/S, which is really unbearable. So I tossed a bit, and finally found a solution, but the specific reasons did not go deeper:

In IE-->Internet Options->Connection--> LAN settings, remove the "automatic detection settings "Options can be, as shown in the figure:


In Windows 7/Vista, you can use this path to directly access the SharePoint folder \\\\www.domain.com\\davWWWroot\\ , which is the key It is indispensable for DavWWWroot and represents the root directory of WebDAV.
