Remove IE 8 browser completely from Windows 7

  
        

According to foreign media reports, Windows 7 testers found an interesting change in the latest build 7048 version, Internet Explorer 8 can be completely removed in the "Windows Feature Options", but it will also affect Use of the system browser.

  1. Open "All Control Panel Options" from the Control Panel;
  2. Click on "PRograms and Features";
  3. Click on "Turn Windows Features On or Off" in the left sidebar (if you have upgraded the UAC permissions, you will receive a UAC prompt);

  5. find Internet Explorer in the list of programs 8 and deselect;
  6. Click OK. You will see a prompt to restart your computer.
  7. After rebooting, the system will make some settings and then restart again.
