Say goodbye to error, make Windows7 time display more accurate

At the weekend, a relative QQ asked me how to make the time in the system display more accurately. His computer time always has errors. When watching the live ball game according to the computer time prompt, either miss the first few minutes, or It hasn't started yet, and it will be like this after a manual adjustment. After listening to him, I felt a little strange first, my computer display time has been relatively accurate, but in any case, first understand the situation and then help him solve the problem. So first ask him what system he used, answer: it seems to be Win7. Then, out of habit and asked what version of the sentence, he did not know the sentence, said that the notebook comes with, after the first half of this year (he is still a student) spent more than 100 to raise the subordinate. I understand this, I used the Win7 Professional Edition, because he is a student, so with the convenience of the Microsoft Campus Pioneer Program, I can upgrade from Win7 Home Basic/Home Premium to Win7 Professional (Faculty) for $149. I also want to be a student...hey, it’s far away.)

After knowing what system is, the next step is to solve the problem. According to experience, the problem is likely to be inaccurate in Windows time synchronization, so let us start from here.

Click on the Windows 7 time bar and click on “Change Date and Time Settings” in the pop-up window (red box below).

Next, switch to the "Internet Time" tab, click "Change Settings", in the pop-up server column, delete the default time.windows.com, and then enter a new server address: Pool.ntp.org, click "Update Now" when you are done.

The update will show the last successful synchronization time. The automatic synchronization frequency of the server is one week. Compared to the Windows default time server, pool.ntp.org is on various systems/servers. With application, reliability is not a problem.

After the setting is completed, the accuracy of the Windows system time will be greatly guaranteed. Of course, you can also try to create a scheduled task and let it update once a day. This work is left to everyone. Operation.
