Microsoft fixes black screen error in Win7 SP1 installation

If you are a Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2 user, you may encounter a "0xC0000009A" error when installing the SP1 service pack. Microsoft recently released KB2534366, which provides A fix patch helps users solve this problem.

When you install Windows 7 SP1 or Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 on a computer with more than 10 language packs, the computer stops responding and blacks out. In addition, you will also receive a "0xC0000009A" error message. This is because the number of registry key handles with the same name that can be opened in the registry subkey is limited to 65535, and each language pack on the computer increases the number of open registry key handles.

Microsoft recommends installing the fix in KB2534366 before installing SP1 on Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2.
